Hi, I’m Ashlyn! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase, where I am developing the knowledge and practical skills needed to support young learners in meaningful ways. During my matric year, I consistently achieved strong results across my subjects, reflecting my dedication, discipline, and passion for learning. Since 2022, I have been tutoring learners and have loved every opportunity to help students grow academically and gain confidence in their abilities.

As a tutor, I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where learners feel comfortable and encouraged to ask questions. I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on meeting each learner where they are and providing patient, one-on-one support tailored to their needs. My goal is not only to help learners understand their schoolwork but also to build their self-confidence, develop their independent thinking, and inspire them to believe in their potential. I aim to be a supportive role model who motivates students to approach learning with curiosity and courage.

In my spare time, I love working with children and have a special passion for supporting children and teenagers with disabilities and learning challenges, an area in which I also have valuable experience. Outside of education, I enjoy reading and music, and I am actively involved in my church’s worship team, where I sing and serve during both youth gatherings and Sunday services. These experiences have strengthened my compassion, patience, and ability to connect with young people from different backgrounds.
