Hello, I’m Kyle Botes, and I’m passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. With an Honours degree in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg and a solid academic foundation that includes achieving distinctions during my matric year, I’ve embarked on a journey as a Data Science apprentice.

My educational journey has been enriched by participation in various events such as the Microsoft Imagine Cup and the CSIR Datathon, culminating in the publication of a paper at ASM ICPE 2023. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring undergraduate students from years 1 to 3 at my alma mater, where I’ve been able to share my enthusiasm for learning and exploration in the field.

Outside the realm of technology, I find balance and rejuvenation through my hobbies. Whether immersing myself in strategic gameplay, venturing into the great outdoors for a hike, or simply unwinding with friends, I believe in embracing diverse experiences to foster personal growth and creativity.
