Hi! I’m Tarika, and I’m currently completing a BSc in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 90% in English, 87% in Afrikaans, 97% in Mathematics, 96% in AP Maths, 95% in Life Science, 92% in Physical Science, and 98% in Accounting. My academic achievements reflect my dedication to understanding complex subjects, and I’ve always enjoyed sharing that knowledge with others. With three years of tutoring experience, I’ve helped many students improve their marks and deepen their understanding of key concepts.

As a tutor, I know that school can be challenging, and I’ve faced those challenges myself. I’ve had to figure things out independently at times, and that’s why I’m passionate about providing the support I wish I had. I strive to create personal connections with my students, understanding their unique learning styles, and tailoring lessons to suit their needs. Education is something I truly value, and I aim to make it as engaging and approachable as possible for my students.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, staying fit, cooking, and reading. I also love anything that challenges my mind, whether it’s puzzles, games, or science-related activities. These hobbies not only keep me active but also fuel my curiosity and drive to learn, which I aim to pass on to my students.
