Hi, I’m Refilwe! I’m currently completing a BCom in Informatics with a focus on Business Management. In my matric year, I achieved three distinctions—81% in English, 84% in Mathematics, and 80% in Life Orientation. My academic journey has allowed me to develop a strong balance between analytical thinking and creative expression, and I enjoy helping others find that same confidence in their learning.

As a tutor, I aim to mentor, support, and guide learners by filling in the gaps that may have been missed in the classroom. I believe that every student has the potential to excel when given the right tools, encouragement, and personalised attention. My approach focuses on simplifying difficult concepts, building confidence, and helping students discover their unique learning styles.

In my spare time, I have many interests that reflect my love for learning and creativity. I enjoy reading and writing literature, listening to and playing music—I play the violincello at a Grade 8 level—and training my two dogs, which is both fun and fulfilling. My diverse interests allow me to connect with students on many levels and bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and adaptability into every lesson.
