Hi! I’m Daniella, and I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Education in the intermediate phase. In high school, I achieved four distinctions, including 80% in Afrikaans, 87% in English, 84% in German, and 86% in Life Orientation. I’m fluent in both Afrikaans and English, which allows me to effectively communicate and assist students in either language. As a future educator, I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential and excel in their studies.

As a tutor, my goal is to guide students toward academic success and self-confidence. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, and it’s my job to help them tap into those. I’m particularly patient with younger students and those who face learning challenges. I’ve found that with the right approach and understanding, any student can overcome obstacles and achieve great results. My role is to be a steady support system and to adapt my teaching to the individual needs of each learner.

In my spare time, I love learning new languages and expanding my cultural horizons. I’m also a poetry enthusiast and enjoy both reading and writing my own verses. Singing is a big part of my life, and I’m proud to be a member of my residence’s A cappella group. I also enjoy playing the guitar, cooking, and baking—activities that allow me to relax and express my creativity outside of academics.
