Hi, I’m Carli! I am currently completing an Honours Degree in Psychology, where I continue to deepen my understanding of the human mind and behaviour. In my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, including 85% in English, 81% in Geography, and 86% in Life Orientation, along with strong marks in Afrikaans, Physical Science, and Life Science. As a native Afrikaans speaker, I am comfortable communicating in both English and Afrikaans, which allows me to support learners in a way that feels natural and relatable, and to discuss subject content in either language if needed.

As a tutor, my aim is not to teach everything from scratch, but rather to fill in gaps in knowledge, bridge understanding, and help learners grow in confidence. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance and support, and I focus on creating a comfortable space where questions are encouraged and concepts are clearly explained. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting with watercolour, which allows me to express my creativity and unwind. I am also deeply passionate about the human brain—how it functions and how its processes influence every aspect of our being—which naturally complements my studies in Psychology. In addition, I am passionate about volunteer work, as I value giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
