Hi, I’m Yolandi! I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences, and my academic journey has always been driven by curiosity and a love for learning. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 89% in Accounting, 91% in Afrikaans, and 88% in Drama. My diverse subject interests have helped me develop both analytical and creative thinking skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. With 5 years of tutoring experience, I have honed my ability to tailor lessons to meet individual needs and help students reach their full potential.

As a tutor, my goal is to build up my students’ confidence and help them believe in themselves. I understand that academics can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I firmly believe that with the right mindset, every student can succeed. I strive to make learning an encouraging and positive experience, guiding my students to change the way they approach challenges and develop a deeper understanding of their subjects.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my two cats, Chai and Boba, who bring so much joy and energy into my life. I also have a passion for baking, and I enjoy experimenting with new recipes whenever I get the chance. Whether it’s helping students grow academically or creating something delicious in the kitchen, I always find joy in learning and sharing my knowledge with others.
