Hi, I’m Wonga! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, a field that reflects my deep-seated passion for analytical thinking and problem-solving. During my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 99% in Maths, 98% in Life Science, 97% in Accounting, and 95% in Physical Science. I also earned strong marks in my languages, with 83% in Xhosa and 82% in English, as well as 81% in Life Orientation. These results have given me a robust foundation across a variety of subjects, which I am eager to share with my students.

As a tutor, my primary aim is to better explain difficult topics by simplifying what the teacher has taught in class. I understand that classroom environments can sometimes move too quickly, so I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand parts. I pride myself on providing practical tips and tricks that help students approach their exams with confidence and efficiency. My goal is to make learning an engaging experience where students feel empowered to master even the most challenging material.

Outside of my academic and tutoring commitments, I stay active and mentally sharp through my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy Mathematics and often spend my spare time exploring new problems and numerical challenges. To balance the mental rigour of Actuarial Science, I love running, which helps me maintain a disciplined and healthy lifestyle. I believe this balance of academic dedication and personal well-being allows me to bring a focused and energetic approach to every tutoring session.
