Hello, I’m Shelley, and I am thrilled to share my passion for education with you. Armed with a Higher Diploma in Education, I bring over 30 years of teaching experience to the table. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to cultivating a positive and engaging learning environment by building strong connections with my students. My teaching philosophy revolves around kindness, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subjects I teach.

Over the past five years, I’ve specialized in teaching Afrikaans as a first additional language up to the Cambridge IGCSE level. Prior to that, I spent two decades nurturing the minds of young learners in Pre-Primary and Junior Primary education. My commitment to my students is unwavering, and I approach each session with reliability and enthusiasm. Beyond the classroom, I find joy in the pages of a good book, exploring new destinations through travel, going for long walks, and embracing the tranquility of yoga. I look forward to embarking on a learning journey with you!
