Hi, I’m Karli! I’m currently completing a Master of Science in Environmental Management, a field that has allowed me to explore my passion for the environment and problem-solving. I specialize in tutoring Natural Science and Life Sciences up to Grade 12, including IGCSE, A-levels, and AS-levels. My academic journey has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to simplify complex concepts and make learning both engaging and approachable for my students. During my matric year, I achieved three distinctions in the Cambridge curriculum, including 90% in Afrikaans, 80% in English, and 80% in Computer Studies. These results reflect my commitment to academic excellence and my ability to adapt to a rigorous curriculum.

As a tutor, I focus on identifying the specific gaps and needs of my students, helping them build confidence and understanding. My approach is to “coach” learners through challenges by breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps while fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy spending my time reading, writing short stories and poetry, and exploring the world through macro photography. These hobbies allow me to express creativity and appreciate the finer details of life, which I bring into my teaching by encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
