Hi, I’m Kamelia! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Education in Senior and FET Teaching, specialising in IT, Coding, and Robotics. I’ve always been passionate about both technology and teaching, and I’m excited to share that passion with others. In my matric year, I achieved 4 distinctions, including 96% in Business Studies, 96% in Economics, and 84% in IT—subjects that not only challenged me but also helped shape my interest in education and innovation.

As a tutor, I aim to go beyond just being a teacher—I want to be someone learners can connect with on a personal level. I believe one-on-one support allows us to really focus on areas where students are struggling and tailor learning to their unique needs. I also understand that personal life and emotions can greatly affect academics, which is why I strive to build trust and be someone learners feel comfortable talking to. Being a tutor, to me, means being a mentor, a motivator, and even a friend when needed.

In my spare time, I enjoy diving into academic reading, especially texts and articles that explore current global educational and technological trends. I’m also deeply passionate about coding—I’m proficient in a variety of coding languages and love the endless possibilities that come with creating and solving problems through code. Tutoring allows me to combine my love for people and programming, and I’m always excited to help learners discover their potential and grow in both confidence and knowledge.
