Hi, I’m Jeminah! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Education in the Intermediate Phase, driven by a passion for nurturing young minds and helping students build a strong foundation for their academic journey. In my matric year, I achieved one distinction with 87% in Afrikaans, a subject I hold dear and enjoy teaching. My two years of experience as a concession facilitator have also equipped me with valuable skills in understanding and accommodating diverse learning needs.

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore challenging concepts. I believe in the importance of building confidence and curiosity in learners, guiding them to discover their unique strengths while helping them achieve academic success. My approach focuses on fostering independent thinking, providing clear explanations, and ensuring that students leave each session with a deeper understanding and a sense of accomplishment.

In my spare time, I enjoy writing and editing short stories, essays, and reports. I love the process of explaining work to children and helping them grasp difficult concepts. When I’m not working on academic or creative pursuits, I spend my time training and riding horses, with a special focus on learning how to care for old and injured horses, which brings me immense fulfillment.
