Hi, I’m Wendy! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and History, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both analytical research and effective communication. During my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, including 81% in History and Mathematics and 82% in Life Orientation, while also maintaining strong marks in Afrikaans, English, Life Science, and Physical Science. I have been tutoring since 2023, and I am passionate about sharing my academic knowledge with my students.

As a tutor, I aim to adapt to the specific needs of each student by pinpointing their individual challenges and explaining concepts in a teaching style that relates to their unique learning style. I believe in honing in on the core of a problem and focusing my energy on guiding students on how to learn effectively. By equipping them with the right study tools and techniques, I help them build the confidence necessary to master their subjects independently.

In my spare time, I am an avid language enthusiast and thoroughly enjoy the process of learning new ways to communicate. I am currently learning Hindi and Mandarin, which keeps my own learning skills sharp and gives me a firsthand perspective on the patience required to acquire new skills. I find that this hobby enriches my tutoring approach, as it reminds me of the importance of persistence and practice when tackling new academic material.
