Hi, I’m Mandisa! I’m currently completing my Honours in Integrated Organisational Communications while also working as a Communications Specialist. In my matric year, I achieved two distinctions, including 82% in Zulu, which has fueled my passion for language and communication. I have experience tutoring conversational IsiZulu and have had the opportunity to assist with one of BrightSparkz Tutors’ key client accounts in this area. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help individuals improve their fluency and confidence in IsiZulu.

As a tutor, I aim to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for students of all ages, from young children to high school learners. I am accustomed to working closely with students to meet their unique learning needs and ensure they feel comfortable and supported in their academic journey. My professional background in communications allows me to explain concepts in a clear and accessible way, tailoring lessons to suit each student’s learning style while keeping the sessions interactive and enjoyable.

In my spare time, I love staying active and being outdoors. Whether it’s working out, hiking, or playing club netball, I enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I also coach children’s sports at a few local schools, which combines my love for fitness with my passion for working with kids. When I’m not on the move, you’ll find me reading about current affairs related to my degree, listening to music, or cheering on various sports, especially rugby.
