Hi, I’m Paul! I have completed a Bachelor of Education in the Intermediate and Senior Phase, with a focus on Mathematics and English. I’ve been teaching since 2008, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to connect with learners, explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt my approach to suit each individual’s needs. Teaching is not just my profession — it’s my passion.

As a tutor, I love seeing a student become equipped with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching learners reach — and even exceed — their potential, especially in Mathematics. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve helped students prepare for critical exams, overcome learning challenges, and build a solid academic foundation that sets them up for future success. My approach is all about encouragement, consistency, and making learning engaging and empowering.

In my spare time, I love climbing mountains, jogging, and cycling in the great outdoors. These physically demanding activities challenge me just as much as teaching does mentally. I also enjoy playing chess, which keeps my mind sharp and helps me think strategically — a skill I bring into my lessons as well. Whether it’s on a mountain trail or across a chessboard, I enjoy pushing boundaries and overcoming challenges — and I encourage my students to do the same.
