Nurah A

Hi, I’m Nurah! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Social Science in Environmental and Geographical Science, History and Psychology. My academic journey has been driven by a fascination with both the human experience and the world around us. In my Matric year, I achieved four distinctions, including 99% in History, 89% in Afrikaans, 85% in English, and 83% in Geography. These results reflect my strong dedication to my studies and my deep understanding of the humanities and social sciences.

As a tutor, I aim not just to teach, but to help the student and facilitate the learning process. I believe that true education happens when a student is empowered to engage with the material themselves. My goal is to act as a guide, providing the necessary tools and support to make complex topics more accessible and to help each individual build the confidence they need to succeed independently.

In my spare time, I love the arts and have a passion for Writing Poetry and Drawing. I am deeply interested in African, Middle Eastern and South American History, but I also like to learn about the Natural Environment. Additionally, I enjoy Reading and trying to learn new Languages. These diverse interests keep me curious and constantly growing, a quality I hope to inspire in all the students I work with.
