Hi, I’m Monique! I have completed a Master of Science in Molecular Biology, equipping me with a strong academic background and a deep understanding of scientific concepts. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 85% in English, 95% in Afrikaans, 86% in Maths, 90% in Life Orientation, 90% in Life Science, 84% in Physical Science, and 87% in Accounting, reflecting my consistent dedication and well-rounded academic ability.

I have been tutoring since 2020, and throughout this time I have developed a student-centred approach to learning. I believe that everyone has the ability to understand any concept; sometimes it simply takes the right guidance to break a topic down and build a clear understanding step by step. For me, the foundation of true understanding lies in consistent effort and perseverance. I encourage my students to see the bigger picture first, as this makes it much easier to grasp the finer details. My role is to support, guide, and build confidence while helping students develop skills they can use independently.

In my spare time, I enjoy a variety of relaxing and creative activities, including reading, baking, and solving puzzles. I also love travelling and exploring new places, which broadens my perspective and keeps me inspired. These interests help me maintain a balanced lifestyle and bring a positive, engaging energy into my tutoring sessions.
