Larona V

Hi, I’m Larona! I’m currently completing a BSc in Audiology. In my matric year, I achieved 4 distinctions, including 86% in English, 85% in Afrikaans, and 85% in Life Science. I have been tutoring since 2023 and truly enjoy helping learners unlock their academic potential.

As a tutor, I aim to create independence in my students. My goal is not to assist them forever, but rather to guide them for a short period of time while helping them build a strong enough foundation to confidently apply techniques and strategies on their own. I believe that true learning comes from empowering students to take ownership of their studies.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring my passions for environmentalism, socialism, animals, healthcare, and food. These interests allow me to stay curious, compassionate, and grounded, qualities that I carry into my tutoring to connect with students on both an academic and personal level.
