Hi, I’m Jasmitha! I am currently completing a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, and I have always had a strong passion for learning and academic excellence. During my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 81% in English, 88% in Afrikaans, 87% in Maths, 86% in Life Orientation, 90% in Accounting, 88% in Life Science, and 89% in Physical Science. These results reflect my dedication to understanding subjects deeply and consistently striving to perform at my best.

As a tutor, my goal is to build a strong foundation of understanding for every learner I work with. I take time to identify what a learner already knows and where they may be struggling, so that I can guide them effectively. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, helping learners gain confidence while developing the skills they need to solve problems independently and think critically.

Outside of academics, I enjoy activities that allow me to relax and express my creativity. I love reading, which constantly expands my knowledge and perspective, and I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes. Trying out new dishes gives me a chance to be creative and unwind, while also reminding me that learning—whether in the kitchen or the classroom—is always an exciting and rewarding process.
