Hi, I’m Jaimie! I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, where I developed not only strong scientific knowledge but also discipline, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, earning 80% in English, 80% in Afrikaans, 80% in Physical Science, 80% in Natural Science, and 80% in Mathematics, along with strong marks in French. These results reflect both my academic dedication and my ability to master a broad range of subjects.

Over the years, I have supported learners across various subjects and year groups, adapting my teaching approach to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles. My academic background in the sciences, combined with my strength in languages, allows me to confidently tutor both analytical and essay-based subjects. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on simplifying complex concepts, building strong foundational knowledge, and developing effective study techniques that empower students to become independent, confident learners.

As a tutor, I strive to create a learning environment that is respectful, honest, and encouraging. I believe that patience, consistency, and positivity are key to unlocking a student’s potential. My goal is not only to improve marks but also to build confidence and foster genuine understanding. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, as well as staying active through surfing, running, hiking, and swimming. I also love playing the piano and guitar, which helps me maintain creativity and balance in my life.
