Hi, I’m Courtney! I’ve completed a BSc in Food Science, combining my love for science with a passion for health and nutrition. In my matric year, I achieved six distinctions — including 90% in Visual Art, 86% in Maths, and over 80% in subjects like Afrikaans, English, Geography, and Physical Science. My academic background has equipped me with both analytical and creative strengths, and I enjoy sharing this knowledge with others in meaningful, accessible ways.

As a tutor, I aim to do more than just help with marks — I strive to mentor, inspire, and guide students toward building better learning habits and greater confidence in themselves. I believe that when students feel supported and empowered, they begin to truly enjoy the learning process. My goal is to be both a tutor and a role model, helping learners fall in love with their subjects and approach their studies with curiosity and self-belief.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking (especially experimenting with recipes), reading, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy exercising and staying active, as I believe a balanced lifestyle contributes to mental clarity and resilience — both of which are important for learning. I bring that same energy and optimism into every session, aiming to create a positive and encouraging environment where learners feel capable and excited to grow.
