Hi, I’m Chevonne! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Medicine, driven by a deep passion for learning and helping others grow academically. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, earning 93% in Afrikaans, 90% in English, 87% in Geography, 94% in Life Orientation, and 86% in Life Science, along with strong marks in Physical Science and Maths. These results reflect not only my dedication and discipline, but also my commitment to striving for excellence in every subject I pursue. I have been tutoring since 2023, and throughout this time I have developed a learner-centred approach to teaching.

As a tutor, I aim to understand each learner’s individual needs in order to help them succeed. This involves analysing how they learn, recognising different learning styles, and incorporating these into our lessons. I believe the tutor’s role is to guide the learner and build a bridge towards clear understanding, creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to ask questions and grow academically.

Outside of my studies and tutoring, I enjoy spending time in nature and the outdoors, especially trail running. I also love playing instruments and going to the gym, as staying active and creative helps me maintain balance and focus. These interests shape who I am — disciplined, energetic, and motivated — qualities I bring into every lesson to inspire and support my learners.
