Hi, I’m Mpotja! I have completed a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase. My studies provided me with a solid foundation in curriculum planning, learner support strategies, and inclusive teaching practices. During my matric year, I achieved strong marks in Afrikaans and Life Orientation, which not only reflected my academic dedication but also sparked my passion for language, communication, and personal development. These achievements laid the groundwork for my continued commitment to helping learners build confidence and competence in their studies.

I have been tutoring since 2024, working with learners from diverse backgrounds and with varying academic needs. As a tutor, my aim is to guide, teach, and mentor each student in a way that is patient, structured, and encouraging. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, and my role is to help them unlock their potential by creating a supportive and motivating environment. I focus on building strong foundational understanding, improving language skills, and developing effective study habits that empower learners to become independent and confident. I place great importance on clear communication, consistent practice, and positive reinforcement to ensure meaningful progress.

In my spare time, I enjoy sports—particularly athletics and hockey—which have taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. I also have a strong love for reading, as it broadens my perspective and continuously strengthens my language skills. These personal interests influence my teaching style, as I encourage resilience, focus, and curiosity in my learners. I am passionate about helping students grow not only academically but also personally, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, purposeful, and inspiring.
