Hi, I’m Megan! I have completed a BCom Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management at the University of Cape Town. In my matric year, I achieved 6 distinctions, including 94% for Afrikaans, 87% for Maths, 82% for English, 89% for Music, 86% for Geography, and 87% for Life Orientation. These results reflect my commitment to hard work and my passion for learning, and I believe that with the right guidance, all students can achieve their academic goals.

I have over 6 years of tutoring experience, and during this time, I’ve developed a teaching approach that focuses on understanding and motivating the student. I believe that success in any subject comes from not just mastering the material but also developing a positive mindset towards learning. My goal as a tutor is to change students’ perspectives on learning, help them build their confidence, and guide them through challenges so they can succeed. I believe every student has the potential to excel with the right support and encouragement.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing netball, baking, and watching sports documentaries. I find these activities help me relax and maintain balance in my life. Ultimately, I’m passionate about helping students grow academically and personally, and I’m excited to work with young learners, helping them build a strong foundation in Maths while boosting their confidence along the way.
