Hi, I’m Kristen! I have completed a Bachelor of Consumer Science in Hospitality Management, which has given me a strong foundation in organisation, communication, and people-focused problem solving. In my matric year, I achieved two distinctions, earning 80% in CAT and 84% in Life Orientation, along with strong marks in Accounting, Afrikaans, English, Geography, and Mathematics. These subjects helped me develop both analytical and language skills, which I bring into every tutoring session.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorising content. I am a very patient and kind tutor, and I always strive to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs, offering clear explanations and gentle encouragement to help build confidence and steady progress towards their academic goals.

In my spare time, I am interested in travel and enjoy learning about new places, cultures, and perspectives. I am also interested in films, particularly how stories are told and ideas are communicated. These interests help me connect with students and keep lessons engaging, while maintaining a warm, understanding, and motivating approach to learning.
