Hi, I’m Christiaan! I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Data Science degree, and I’ve always had a passion for learning, especially when it comes to problem-solving and analytical thinking. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 98% in Mathematics, 91% in English, and 94% in IT-Java, through the IEB syllabus. I’m bilingual in both English and Afrikaans, and I can tutor IT-Java with Afrikaans as the language of instruction, helping students who prefer to learn in Afrikaans strengthen their skills in the subject.

As a tutor, I aim to help learners grasp the content and context of their subjects, giving them the extra attention they need to build on their current knowledge. I believe that tutoring is not just about teaching—it’s about developing both the student and myself. I enjoy engaging in conversations about the topics at hand, ensuring that my students feel comfortable and confident in what they’re learning. Being punctual and organized is important to me, and I always strive to create a supportive learning environment.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors, which allows me to recharge and stay active. I’m also passionate about fitness and regularly spend time in the gym. Staying healthy and active keeps me focused, and I believe that balance is key to success in both academics and life.
