Bridie D

Hi, I’m Bridie! I have completed a Certification in Special Needs Facilitation, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support children with unique learning requirements. During my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, including 86% in History, 80% in Geography, and 89% in English, which reflects my dedication and love for learning. With over 30 years of childcare experience, I bring a wealth of understanding and compassion to my role as a tutor.

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and stress-free environment where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I understand the challenges that children with special needs and ADHD often face, and my role is to aid, guide, and encourage them along the way. Patience is one of my greatest strengths, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, fun, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.

In my spare time, I love staying active and spending time in nature. Surfing and hiking are my favorite ways to unwind, and I also enjoy getting lost in a good book. I look forward to embracing new challenges and helping students grow both academically and personally!
