Gean V

Hi, I’m Gean! I’ve completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and have been tutoring since 2023. In my Matric year, I achieved one distinction, including 80% in Life Orientation, along with strong marks in English, Engineering and Graphic Design, and Physical Science. These experiences shaped my passion for helping others understand challenging subjects in a way that feels approachable and encouraging.

As a tutor, I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficulties at their own pace. I believe learning works best when students feel confident and understood, so I focus on clear explanations, building good study habits, and helping learners develop effective methods that work for them personally. I also have a genuine love for Afrikaans, which has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and skill in the language.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active through different forms of physical training and proudly completed my first marathon in 2025. I also love riding and maintaining motorcycles, which keeps me connected to my engineering interests in a practical, hands-on way. I look forward to supporting students on their learning journey and helping them grow in both confidence and ability.
