Hi, I’m Cameron! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Laws at Stellenbosch University, where I continue to build on the strong academic foundation I developed in school. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 89% for History, 86% for English, 90% for Afrikaans, 85% for Maths, 93% for French, 87% for Accounting, and 88% for Life Orientation. My love for learning and exploring different perspectives continues to guide both my studies and my approach to tutoring.

I have a particular passion for History, and I really enjoy helping students navigate the challenges of high school History. My tutoring style focuses on identifying any gaps in understanding and working together to build both confidence and skills. I aim to make lessons engaging and interactive, encouraging students to think critically, connect ideas, and see the bigger picture—all while working steadily toward their academic goals.

Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about languages and often find myself diving into conversations about the role of linguistics in modern societies. I enjoy reading across a wide range of genres, exploring topics in sociology, politics, and of course, history. I also pursue writing in my own time and am committed to volunteering whenever possible. Whether it’s through a podcast, a book, or a classroom discussion, I’m always eager to keep learning—and I hope to inspire the same in the students I work with.
