Hi, I’m Su-Mari! I have completed a BSc in Human Physiology, Psychology, and Genetics—a field that has deepened my understanding of how people think, learn, and grow. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 83% in Afrikaans, 90% in English, 89% in Life Orientation, 82% in Life Sciences, 81% in Mathematics, and 84% in both Physical Science and Accounting. Since 2022, I’ve been tutoring students in a range of subjects, and I’ve developed a strong passion for helping others succeed.

As a tutor, I aim to build my students’ confidence by explaining information clearly and at a pace that suits their individual needs. I believe in the power of one-on-one support—creating a space where learners feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to ask questions. My goal is to make academic content more accessible and less intimidating, so that students can truly engage with their work and see progress they’re proud of.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, especially around topics related to psychology, child development, and teaching. These interests constantly inspire me to find new ways to connect with students and understand their learning styles. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to combine my academic background with my love for education, and I’m always excited to support learners on their unique paths to success.
