Hi, I’m James! I’m currently completing a BScAgric in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management — a field that allows me to combine my love for science, the environment, and problem-solving. In my matric year, I achieved 2 distinctions, including 83% in Chemistry and 87% in Life Science. These subjects not only sparked my academic interests but also taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and curiosity — values I bring into every tutoring session.

As a tutor, my goal is to be more than just an academic guide — I aim to be a supportive presence, a motivator, and someone students can trust. I believe that one-on-one learning allows space to truly understand a student’s needs and learning style. I approach each session with kindness, patience, and a competitive spirit that encourages learners to push themselves while feeling supported. I’m inclusive and adaptive, ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and capable of achieving their best.

In my spare time, I enjoy an active lifestyle. Whether I’m out surfing, playing water polo, hitting the rugby field, or working out, I thrive on energy and connection. I also value social events where I can meet new people and learn from different perspectives. These experiences help me stay balanced, and they give me a dynamic and approachable style that I bring into my teaching.
