Hi! I’m Merlu, currently immersed in the pursuit of a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences at the University of Johannesburg. My matric year was marked by significant academic achievements, earning five distinctions, including standout performances such as 90% in Accounting, 100% in Business Studies, 92% in Economics, 96% in Life Orientation, and 80% in English, reflecting my commitment to excellence.

In my role as a tutor, I prioritize focusing on the learner and adapting my approach to create a relatable and supportive learning environment. I understand the importance of being someone students can look up to, and I believe that relatability fosters a stronger connection and understanding. Despite having just begun my tutoring journey a few months ago, I bring fresh perspectives and an empathetic approach to help students navigate their academic challenges. Outside the academic realm, I find joy in playing soccer whenever the opportunity arises. Reading is another passion of mine, and I make it a point to help others whenever I can. I am excited about the prospect of making a positive impact on my students’ academic journeys and being a source of inspiration and support.
