Hi, I’m Lionel! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, where I continue to strengthen my analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and passion for learning. During my matric year, I achieved stellar marks across all my subjects, including Afrikaans, English, Engineering & Graphic Design, Geography, Life Orientation, Maths, and Physical Science. My strong academic foundation has equipped me with the knowledge and discipline needed to support learners in reaching their full potential.

As a tutor, I believe that my role is is to guide learners, encourage questions, refine understanding, and provide clarity in a way that builds both confidence and independence. I have been tutoring since 2024 and enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable engaging with challenging concepts. I aim to adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s individual needs, helping them not only improve academically but also develop a genuine understanding of their subjects.

Outside of academics, I am incredibly passionate about all things related to art, whether it be music, film, or literature. I also work as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, with a particular interest in film photography. As a former athlete in football and hockey, I remain an avid sports fan and enjoy staying involved in sport-related activities. During winter and summer holidays, I assist in training Under-17 and Under-18 cricket and football teams in my hometown, focusing on off-season fitness and tactical development.
