Hi, I’m Thozama! I have completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (SP and FET Phase) and am a qualified teacher with a strong background in psychology. I am also successfully trained as a study skills crash course facilitator, where I focus on equipping students with essential strategies for effective learning. This training involves teaching students how to organize their study schedules, enhance their concentration, and use memory aids to retain information better. During my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 80% in English, 91% in Maths Literacy, 88% in Business Studies, 88% in Economics, and 84% in Life Science. Over the past five years, I have worked closely with children and adolescents, gaining extensive experience in teaching learners with learning difficulties.

As a tutor, my approach is centered around guiding learners by identifying their strengths and tailoring lessons to suit their individual needs. I aim to re-emphasize key concepts while also mentoring students to help them achieve their full potential. I am deeply passionate about teaching and education, and I truly enjoy working with people. My proficiency in online tutoring allows me to create interactive and engaging lessons using color, highlights, diagrams, and various visual aids. These tools help make complex subjects more accessible and ensure that students remain engaged throughout the lesson. I also take a warm and empathetic approach to tutoring, making sure my students feel calm, knowledgeable, and fully prepared for their exams.

In my spare time, I enjoy studying my Bible, going for play dates with friends, dancing, baking, and spending quality time with my family. These activities bring joy and balance to my life, allowing me to recharge and bring my best self to both my teaching and personal life.
