Hi, I’m Lucy! I have completed a Bachelor of Science and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, combining my passion for science with my dedication to helping others. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 91% in English, 94% in Afrikaans, 94% in Maths, 86% in Life Orientation, 93% in Geography, 90% in Life Science, and 88% in Physical Science. These results reflect my strong academic foundation and disciplined approach to learning.

As a tutor, I aim to help students feel confident in both their abilities and their study methods. I focus on guiding learners in how to prepare effectively for exams, while also helping them discover how they learn best and how to use their individual learning styles to their advantage. My approach is supportive and structured, ensuring that students not only understand their work but also develop the skills and independence needed to succeed academically.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and listening to music, as well as exploring the arts. I love visiting art galleries and attending performances in the dramatic arts, such as theatre and ballet—one of my highlights was watching Swan Lake at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town. I also enjoy spending time in nature through walks and hikes. Additionally, I have a strong interest in history, and I often read history textbooks, watch documentaries, and visit museums, which continues to enrich my curiosity and love for learning.
