Hi, I’m Lucas! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Psychology and African Feminist Studies. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including 82% in English, 88% in Maths Literacy, 81% in Geography, and 88% in History. My academic journey has deepened my understanding of different learning styles, and I believe that with the right support, every student can achieve their full potential.

As a tutor, my goal is to help learners overcome challenges, stay up to date with the curriculum, and reach their academic goals. I focus on identifying areas where students struggle and breaking down complex concepts into manageable, engaging lessons. Being bilingual in English and Afrikaans allows me to assist a diverse range of students, ensuring they can learn in the language they’re most comfortable with. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking, helping students gain both confidence and understanding in their subjects.

In my spare time, I live an active and well-rounded lifestyle. I’m a passionate cyclist, a daily gym-goer, and an avid reader who enjoys diving into new ideas and perspectives. I also have a deep appreciation for theatre performances, finding inspiration in the creativity and storytelling they bring to life. My diverse interests allow me to connect with students on different levels, creating a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience.
