Hi, I’m Jessica!, I am currently pursuing a BSc (Hons.) in Applied Mathematics, a subject that has always fascinated me for its ability to solve real-world problems. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 99% in Mathematics, 97% in Accounting, and 97% in AP Mathematics, reflecting my passion for academics and my commitment to excellence. Over the past four years, I have been tutoring students across various subjects, helping them not only to improve their grades but also to gain confidence in their abilities and develop a deeper understanding of their coursework.

As a tutor, my priority is to help students engage meaningfully with their work and understand how to apply what they have learned. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore concepts in depth. By tailoring my approach to each student’s unique learning style, I aim to make lessons both effective and enjoyable, ensuring that students leave with practical skills and a stronger grasp of their subject material.

In my spare time, I enjoy an active and creative lifestyle. I’m an avid cyclist and runner, regularly training for events but also enjoying the social aspects of these activities. Recently, I’ve ventured into surfing, which has been both an exciting and rewarding challenge. When I’m not outdoors, I love immersing myself in diverse genres of literature, from historical fiction to biographies, and nurturing my creative side through drawing, embroidery, and pottery. This balance of interests helps me bring energy and a fresh perspective to everything I do.
