Hi, I’m Jean-Michelle! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, driven by my passion for understanding the human body and helping others. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including 100% in Dance, 96% in Drama, and 91% in both Mathematics and Life Science. My diverse academic and athletic background has taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and balance—values that I strive to instill in my students.

As a tutor, I aim to be a role model, demonstrating the dedication and hard work it takes to succeed. I believe that learning is a two-way street; while I put effort into creating engaging and effective lessons, my students must also commit to their own growth. My goal is to inspire them to push beyond their limits, develop confidence in their abilities, and take ownership of their learning journey. By fostering a mindset of resilience and curiosity, I help students not only improve their academic performance but also develop skills that will serve them well in life.

In my spare time, I love to stay active. I was a Senior Olympic South African Gymnast, representing my country for 16 years before retiring early due to injury. I continue to dance competitively and go to the gym whenever I can. My passion for movement has fueled my interest in Sports Medicine, and I am working toward becoming an orthopedic sports surgeon specializing in sports injuries. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading and expanding my knowledge in both medicine and athletics.
