Hi, I’m Chavon! I hold a PhD in Medical Biosciences, a qualification that has given me a deep and complex understanding of scientific principles. In my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, with an impressive 90% in Afrikaans, Physical Science, and Life Science. I have been tutoring since 2002, and I am passionate about sharing my extensive knowledge and helping students reach their full potential.

My primary aim as a tutor is to be the crucial link between home and school, bridging the gap between parents and teachers to provide comprehensive support for the learner. Tutoring has become my passion because I find it incredibly rewarding to see the positive outcome of my work. I believe that by offering a supportive and clear learning environment, I can help students not only understand difficult concepts but also grow in confidence.

In my spare time, I love to express my creativity through arts and crafts, finding joy in making things by hand. I also love to embrace the outdoors through activities like hiking and nature walks. These hobbies allow me to relax and recharge, and they fuel my passion for teaching by reminding me of the beauty in discovery and the importance of a well-rounded life.
