Ayabukwa M
Hello! I’m Ayabukwa, and I’m passionate about helping students thrive in their studies. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History, Political Science, and English Literary Studies. My own academic journey has been marked by success; in my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including an impressive 80% in English, 86% in Afrikaans, 85% in Life Orientation, 81% in History, and 80% in Music. This strong foundation in both the humanities and languages has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to effectively guide students through their learning.
My approach to tutoring centres on creating a low-pressure environment where students feel completely comfortable. I aim to build a space where you don’t have to be afraid to ask questions—no matter how simple they might seem. More than just an instructor, I want to create and build a friendship where mutual respect and open communication are key. My goal is for our sessions to feel supportive and engaging, helping you gain confidence and ultimately achieve your academic potential. I believe that learning is most effective when it’s fun and stress-free.
When I’m not studying or tutoring, I have a deep appreciation for the arts and an active lifestyle. Music is a huge part of my life; I enjoy playing both the violin and the ukulele. I’m also a very active person and value my health, regularly enjoying hiking, jogging, and playing tennis. Furthermore, I enjoy reading as well as reciting poetry and have a keen interest in public speaking and debating.
