Tshegofatso M
Hi, I’m Tshegofatso! I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, a field that combines creativity, logic, and problem-solving — all things I genuinely enjoy. In my matric year, I achieved 6 distinctions, including 81% in English, 96% in Maths, 87% in both Geography and Life Science, and 88% in Physical Science. These results reflect my dedication and passion for understanding how things work, and I now use that same passion to help others through tutoring.
I’ve gained valuable teaching experience as a university teaching assistant, where I helped students grasp complex concepts in a way that made sense to them. As a tutor, my goal is to guide learners toward true understanding — not just memorising facts, but seeing the bigger picture and turning areas of weakness into strengths. I believe that by showing students a different perspective, they can unlock their potential and even begin to enjoy subjects they once found challenging.
In my spare time, I have a wide range of interests, including astronomy, judo, and martial arts — activities that keep me physically and mentally sharp. I also enjoy exploring the world of computer sciences and programming, as well as CAD design and cars. When I’m not studying or tutoring, you’ll probably find me watching or playing soccer. These hobbies help me stay curious, focused, and always eager to learn — qualities I bring into every tutoring session.
